Longtime Elma resident Beverly Carol Scott, 82, passed away at her home on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Longtime Elma resident Beverly Carol Scott, 82, passed away at her home on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Beverly was born Oct. 29, 1936, in Everett, Wash. to George and Mildred (Lewison) Fisk. She was raised in Elma and graduated from Elma High School in 1954.

On Aug. 12, 1955, Beverly married Ray Scott at the Elma Methodist Church. Ray passed away in 2012.

Beverly and her husband owned and operated Elma Feed Co. where she worked as the bookkeeper for 35 years until they sold the business in 2010.

Beverly was a member of the Satsop Methodist Church, a member of Beta Sigma Phi for over 50 years and held many offices including president and treasurer. She also belonged to the Embroidery Club of Satsop, Elma Football Booster Club and the Elma Eagles Auxiliary.

Beverly enjoyed bowling, reading, traveling (Hawaii was her favorite place to travel), concerts, Fan Fair and she loved spending time with her family.

Beverly is survived by three sons, Rick, Bill (Debi)and Ron Scott all of Elma and daughter Cathy (Gary) Everson of Olympia; two sisters Audrey Badgett of Longview and Yvonne Borden of Elma; nine grandchildren Ryan, Robbie, Lucy and Ellie Scott, Colby and Cory Scott, Garrett, Alex and Cody Everson; four great-grandchildren Trinity Everson, Roston, Sophie and Savannah Scott and her three French bulldogs Rock ‘C’, Peppy Ray and Annie.
