Nov. 27

Hazardous material. 411 N. 3rd St.; Natural Healing Family Medicine. 2:03 p.m. Strong smell of gas was present in the building and appeared to come from the attached garage next door. Reporting party was dizzy and had a headache but declined medical aid. Reporting party was advised to evacuate.

Malicious mischief. 4700 block State Route 12. 3:02 p.m. Reporting party said neighbor was trespassing on his property and that he has photo evidence. Neighbor had reportedly also dug near the reporting party’s pond without permission.

Nov. 28

Animal problem. 1500 block W. Young St. 6:18 p.m. Reporting party’s dog has become more aggresive in the past few weeks and his girlfriend has become scared of the animal. Dog was locked in a kennel at time of call, and reporting party wanted advice on how to get in touch with an animal shelter.

Nov. 29

Shop lift. 1152 Monte Elma Road.; Slates Corner. 10:37 p.m. Reporting party said they had found video evidence of a male stealing from the store the day previous.

Nov. 30

Suspicious vehicle. 306 S. 3rd St.; Chevron. 2:09 p.m. Motor home reported as having been there for about a week. Customers reported suspicious activity was occuring. No one was inside the vehicle and an employee said they would contact their manager about towing. Call disconnected when reporting party went to get license plate number.

Suspicious person. 313 W. Waldrip St.; Timberland Bank. 2:55 p.m. Middle-aged male in the lobby who was previously outside banging his head against the window. The individual was not known to be a customer and ignored offers of assistance.

Suspicious circumstances. 1500 block W. Anderson St. 6:35 p.m. Reporting party found the rear passenger windon on her black 2009 Ford Taurus broken. No items were taken nor entry gained to the vehicle. The incident occurred between 5-6:30 p.m. that day.
