TRL is beginning “Phase 3” of its 2020-2022 Strategic Plan drafting process. This year, the Strategic Planning Committee is expected to finalize, launch and adjust as needed its Strategic Plan.

Representatives from the organization will hold a “Community Check-in” at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, in the basement meeting room at the Montesano branch.

TRL hopes to further develop its Strategic Plan, which in its current state took up 28 words in a recent TRL email:

“Vision: Our Communities Connected.

“Mission: Connecting people, places, and things.

“Values: Welcoming. Accessible. Sustainable. Diverse. Collaborative.

“Directions: Cultivating Diversity and Inclusion. Investing in Local Communities. Supporting Youth Engagement.”

Sarah Ogden, district manager of innovation and user experience, put together the draft for the strategic plan with input from the planning committee and other stakeholders across TRL. She and other representatives from TRL are expected at the meeting, a TRL spokeswoman said.
