Farm Fresh Guide getting ready

WSU Extension accepting listings for guide.

Washington State University Extension Grays Harbor County currently is updating the 2017 Grays Harbor Farm Fresh Guide.

The guide lists local farms which sell products directly to consumers.

Last year, 30 individual farms were listed in the guide selling locally produced products ranging from strawberries to buffalo meat.

“This is a wonderful resource showcasing the fantastic agriculture and resources of the county,” said Dan Teuteberg, WSU Extension Grays Harbor County director. “Nearly 5,000 copies were distributed throughout the county last year. You can’t purchase products any fresher than when you purchase them directly from the farm.”

For more information or to get products listed in the 2017 guide, call the WSU Extension Grays Harbor County office, (360) 482-2934, or Candie Gleason at Greater Grays Harbor Inc., (360) 532-7888 no later than March 3.
