Congressman Kilmer schedules Jan. 26 town hall meeting in Montesano

Congressman Derek Kilmer will host a series of town hall meetings next week, including one Saturday, Jan. 26, at Montesano City Hall.

Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions following a short presentation from Kilmer.

“The most important thing I can do as an elected representative is hear directly from my bosses — the people of our region.” Kilmer said. “I am looking forward to sharing my ideas about getting our economy and this Congress on track and hearing from the folks I represent.”

The meeting in Montesano is located at 112 N. Main St. and begins at 5:30 p.m.

These town hall dates are tentative. A statement from Kilmer’s office read that he “could be called back to Washington, D.C., to keep pushing for an end to the federal government shutdown.” If dates are canceled he will host a Facebook Live town hall instead. Check with kilmer.house.gov, facebook.com/derek.kilmer or his Twitter account, @repderekkilmer, for the latest.

No RSVP is required, and doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.
