Monte collects six tons of food in food drive
The Montesano School District wrapped up its Food Bowl fundraiser and food drive last week.
The students raised $30,777.23 and 12,500 pounds of food for area food banks.
This is the second year that the food and funds raising effort was not a competition between the Elma and Monte school districts. Elma completed its Food Bowl activities last month.
