Nov. 29

Subject stop. Main Street at jail, Montesano. 9:20 p.m. Officer checked on subjects standing in the jail parking lot near the Sally Port. They were just leaving after a visit.

Theft from vehicle. Pettit Oil near Coffee Stand. 5 p.m. Caller advises he parked his 2002 white Ford F-250 at location this morning around 5:30 a.m. and when he returned around 5 p.m. it looked like someone had gotten into his unlocked tool box. Caller advises that he had a lot of valuable items in the back of his truck but it appears nothing was taken. Extra patrols requested.

Nov. 30

Extra patrols. City Forest. 12:18 p.m. Starting from Clearview, checked area of the A2400 line where some Salal picking had been going on and a vehicle had been left. The vehicle was not in the area and no other vehicles or people were located.

Dec. 1

Citizen assist. 500 block N. 3rd St. 12:39 p.m. Female wanted to turn in a firearm she found in her house. She is not allowed to own any firearms and thinks it may belong to her stepson.

Theft. First block Poplar Road. 2:02 p.m. Two packages from Amazon say they were delivered via the tracking numbers but the post office said they did not drop packages off.

Dec. 2

Traffic hazard. 500 block S. 1st St. 11:20 p.m. Female hitchhiking on the main street side of location, last seen southbound on foot – partially in the roadway, reporting party almost hit her. Adult female, thin build, last seen wearing hoodie with hood up and a jean jacket over it, carrying a bag. Officer arrived on scene, unable to locate.

Dec. 4

Disorderly conduct. 400 block Pioneer Ave. 3:43 p.m. Female shoplifted a hat – was able to get it back but had to chase her down to do so, she walked away eastbound Pioneer – last seen in front of State Farm. Dark hair, brown eyes, 5’6, glasses, black coat, carrying blanket. Store manager explained they didn’t want to pursue charges being filed.

Dec. 5

Disorderly conduct. 300 block S. Main St. 3:03 p.m. Female was asked to leave location and she threatened to kill reporting party. No weapons seen – she is now across the street pacing back and forth. Female was told to leave the location and not to return.

Suspicion. 400 block South Main Street. 8:17 p.m. Female out front refusing to leave, has been walking back and forth on side walk past 20-40 minutes. Not causing problem, pacing back and forth on the side walk.

Dec. 6

Suspicious person/circumstance. Traffic offense. Thriftway. 1:09 p.m. Report of a subject with a firearm in vehicle. Driving while license suspended.

Dec. 7

Recovered stolen property. 200 block E. Pioneer Ave. 2:17 p.m. Stolen U-haul back in plot. A smaller self-contained trailer was left in the U-haul lot in the back of Thriftway.

Dec. 8

Animal problem. Alley Behind Station 7. 12:21 p.m. Cat stuck in the tree. He was safely removed.

Traffic hazard. Glenn/Elma. 6:17 p.m. Vehicle stuck in snow. They were able to free themselves and proceed.

Dec. 9

Traffic hazard. North Church Street/East McBryde Avenue. 10:11 a.m. White sedan parked in the middle of the road. Blocking eastbound lane. Unable to locate owner. Whitney’s towed vehicle.

Animal problem. 400 block N. 9th, Montesano. Female was out walking her dog last night. When she got to the intersection of Simpson and Ninth two dogs came over and attacked her dog. Reporting party advised that her dog was not injured however this was an ongoing issue with these dogs. Advised owner of dogs would need to keep them on a leash when off of his property. Dogs were both tan in color and one appeared to be a pit bull mix.
