Meetings

• Greater Grays Harbor Inc. is hosting a business forum lunch 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Grays Harbor Country Club (5300 Central Park Drive) in Aberdeen. The forum will cover “the growing need and opportunity to power student success in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.” Cost is $20 for GGHI members, or $25 for non-members.

• McCleary Timberland Library presents Screenagers, 6-7:30 p.m. for adults and teens at the McCleary School, 611 S. Main St. Join physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston as she examines how teenagers screen time impacts their life and friction within the home while also exploring the larger consequences of technology on society as a whole.

• Montesano Timberland Library presents PageTurners book discussion, 6:30-8 p.m. for adults. Join others for a discussion of “All the Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr. The library will be closed at this time and no other library services will be available. Enter through the back of the building.

• Junk Queens and Friends will host their fall show 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds in Elma. Also on Sept. 30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. General admission on Saturday is $5 or $4 with a nonperishable food donation.

• Catch Montesano Fish and Brew Fest, 4 p.m. at Fleet Park in Montesano. Expanded beer garden, live music and food vendors. Fun run and walk starts at 9 a.m. at Friend’s Landing. Registration for the run starts at 8 a.m.

Sunday, Oct. 1

Events

• Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church will host a blessing of the pets at 10 a.m. at the church, 124 N. Sylvia St. in Montesano. Bring you pet to church. After the service, there will be fellowship at treats in the parish hall.

• The monthly Coffee Club meeting will be held 11 a.m. to noon at Brandon Klinger’s office at 211 S. Main St., suite 1A.
