Entertainment

• Stone Soup Artists open mic, every Tuesday, 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m., at Organics 101 Market in Montesano (316 S. Main St.). Unplugged acoustic originals.

• A featured artist, duo or small group will perform at 9 p.m. every Thursday at Charlie’s Sports Bar in Montesano. To sign up as an artist, contact Wil Russoul, (360) 500-5334.

• Open pool table every Tuesday at the Elma Senior Center, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

• Elma Senior Center hosts pinochle every Friday at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m.

• Family Storytime. Wednesdays, 10:30-11 a.m. at Elma Timberland Library. Music, movement, and books for the whole family. All ages.

• Bilingual Storytime. Thursdays, 4 – 4:30 p.m. at Elma Timberland Library. Both Spanish speakers and English speakers are encourage to attend.

• The Salvation Army presents the annual Kettle Klash luncheon fundraiser at 12 p.m. at Harbor City Church (1700 Cherry Street, Aberdeen). • The Elma Chamber of Commerce presents a visit with Santa Claus, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Elma Feed &Farm Supply (424 N. Second St., Elma). Kids and pets are welcome. Pictures are $5.

• Elma’s old-fashioned Christmas tree lighting festivities at the Elma Visitors’ Station, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with music, sing-a-long Christmas caroling, yule log, Santa Claus, free cookies, hot chocolate and coffee. For more information, call (360) 482-3055.

• The 30th annual Montesano Festival of Lights begins with live music at the Montesano High School commons, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., followed by the Ugly Sweater Dance at City Hall. Tickets for the dance are $15 pre-sale and $20 at the door, and includes a cup and two drink tickets.

• The 30th annual Montesano Festival of Lights continues with a pancake breakfast with Santa Claus at the Community Center, 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A craft fair at the Montesano Junior High School gym follows from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Festival of Lights parade begins at 6 p.m. and this year’s theme is “Lights, Camera — Christmas!”

Sunday, Dec. 11

Entertainment

• Grays Harbor Civic Choir presents a holiday concert, at 3 p.m. at the Bishop Center for Performing Arts at Grays Harbor College. All tickets are $10.

• Friends of Schafer and Lake Sylvia present “Bringing in the Yule Log” and “Christmas Sing-A-Long” at 1 p.m. at Schafer State Park (1365 Schafer Park Road, Elma). A special log will be hidden in the park for children to find. Once found, everyone joins together to pull the log back to the fire at the group camp shelter, followed by hot beverages, cookies, a warm fire and Christmas music. Free to all but a Discover Pass is required to park.
