• Mary Fran Lewis will be presenting a slideshow on her trip to Morocco in the meeting room of the Montesano Timberland Library at 7 p.m.

• May Flowers, presented by Grays Harbor Christian Women’s Connection. Join at 11:30 a.m. for a luncheon designed for women of all ages. Immanuel Baptist Church, Hoquiam. Hoquiam High School Choir will perform, as will Roberta Cleland. The speaker will be Nancy Gabert-Bend, Or “What’s In Your Backpack?” Reservations and cancellations are essential. • Bring a plant or insect smple to a WSU Mater Gardener plant clinic at Dennis Company in Elma from 10 a.m.-noon to receive help from a WSU Master Gardener.

Meetings

• Grays Harbor/Pacific County Pomona Grange will meet at Sharon Grange (9122 South Bank Road in Oakville) at 10 a.m. Potluck at noon. Contest entries for craft/sewing/needlework/quilt/photo/canning are due by 1 p.m. for Sharon Grange. Contests are open to teh public. For more information call (360) 249-5350.

• Cribbage tournament at noon at the county forestry building (310 Spruce Ave. W. in Montesano). All levels of cribbage players are welcome. $5 entry fee, 100 percent payout for first, second and third place.

• McCleary Timberland Library presents Get Crafty, 3-4 p.m. for adults. Join fellow community members and get creative.

• Hoquiam Timberland Library presents Books on 8th, 6-7 p.m. for ages 21 and older. “The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender” by Leslye Walton will be discussed. 8th Street Ale House, 207 8th Street, Hoquiam.

• Hoquiam Timberland Library presents Pollinator Partners, 3-4 p.m. for adults and teens. Join Master Gardeners and discover how to bring common pollinators such as bees, butterflies, beetles, flies, wasps, birds and even bats to your garden.

• Join the Friends of Elma Timberland Library at 10 a.m. to discuss how to support the library in delivering premier events and programs.

• The Hoquiam Timberland Library will be closed for staff training. The library will resume its regular schedule on May 19.

Saturday, May 20

Events

• The 18th Annual Grays Harbor Home and Garden Show will be held at the Grays Harbor Fairgrounds Event Center from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. May 20, and May 21 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Tuesday, May 23

At the libraries

• The Elma Timberland Library Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the Jerri Ferrier Room of the library. This meeting is open to the public.

Thursday, May 25

At the libraries

• The Elma Timberland Library and the Oakville Timberland Library will both be closed for training. Elma will resume its regular schedule on May 26, and Oakville on May 27.

Friday, May 26

At the libraries

• The Montesano Timberland Library will be closed for staff training. The library will resume its regular schedule April 27.

Saturday, May 27

Events

• The Montesano Class of 1957 will hold its 60 year reunion. Of the 42 remaining class members more than half will be attending. Lunch is planned for noon at Gepettos in Montesano. Visiting time to follow.

Monday, May 29

At the libraries

• All Timberland Regional Libraries will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Libraries will resume regular hours May 30.

Meetings
