Entertainment

• A featured artist, duo or small group will perform at 9 p.m. every Thursday at Charlie’s Sports Bar in Montesano. To sign up as an artist, contact Wil Russoul, (360) 500-5334.

• Open pool table every Tuesday at the Elma Senior Center, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

Events

• Elma Senior Center hosts pinochle every Friday at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m.

• The Elma School District will sponsor Summer Food Program for Children. Meals will be available at no cost to children 18 years and younger. Meals will be served at Elma Middle School, Monday-Friday, June 19-30. Lunch noon-12:30 p.m. No service the week of July 3-7. Will resume Summer Lunch Monday-Friday, July 10-Aug. 11.

• Elma Timberland Library presents Angel Ocasio, Comedy Show, 2-3 p.m. for all ages. Nationally recognized as a top physical comedian in the Pacific Northwest, Angel Ocasio combines physical comedy, magic, juggling, music and his unique style of comedy.

• McCleary Timberland Library presents Teen Night, 6-7 p.m. for teens. Join the library for fun, food and activities. Get involved or just hang out.

• Montesano Timberland Library presents Makey Makey for teens. Explore the depths of your curiosity, creativity and imagination with Makey Makey.

Saturday, July 15

Events

• The 15th annual Montesano Historic Car Show will begin at 8 a.m. More than 200 street rods, muscle cars and antiques are expected to be on display. Swap meet, food and door prizes.

• The 5th annual Kids Summer Fest will be held at Fleet Park 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Obstacle courses, fun house, face painting, fire department drills and a Boy Scout monkey bridge.

• Oakville Timberland Library presents WonderWorks: Big Builds, 1-2 p.m. for children. Explore activities that build math, science and creative thinking skills.

• The American Red Cross is facing a potential blood shortage and is issuing an emergency call for eligible blood and platelet donors of all blood types to give now. A blood drive will be held in Montesano from 1:30 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Church of God, 317 E. Spruce Ave. For more information or to schedule an appointment to donate, visit redcrossblood.org.

• Montesano Timberland Library presents Eric Haines, Comedy Variety Show, 10:30-11:30 a.m. for all ages. Guitar-slinging comedian Eric Haines brings an act that is part rock concert, part comedy show and part twisted, bizarre circus.

• Oakville Timberland Library presents Jeff Evans Magic Show, 10:30-11:30 a.m. for all ages. Jess Evans’ magic show celebrates the fun things that happen when you open a book.
