• State Park “free day.” Day-use visitors will not need a Discover Pass to visit state parks by vehicle.

• The 2017-18 Montesano High School Cheer and Drill Team presents the third annual Spaghetti Feed, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Montesano United Methodist Church, 401 E. Spruce Ave., Montesano. Tickets are available at the door, $20 per family or $5 per person.

Saturday, Aug. 26

Entertainment

• The Full Monte: An outdoor music celebration will run from 3-7 p.m. at Fleet Park in Montesano. Performers include the Bruce Hughes Band and the Psychedelic Shadow Show along with numerous guitar performances. There will be wine tasting at Savory Faire and a picnic outside with food vendors.

• Aberdeen Driftwood Players will hold auditions for “Nuncrackers” starting at 4 p.m. and again on Monday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Driftwood Theatre, 120 East Third Street, Aberdeen. • Lake Quinault Community Circle presents a Craft Fair and Bake Sale, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in Amanda Park on Highway 101. Artists and craftsmen from around the Olympic Peninsula will display a variety of handcrafted jewelry, woodwork, arts, photography, gifts and crafts. At the libraries

• Elma Timberland Library presents Tech Toys for Adults, 2-4 p.m. for adults. Play with a 3D pen, Makey Makey, Osmo and robots Dot and Dash. Results for adult Summer Reading and prizes.

• All Timberland Regional Libraries will be closed in observance of Labor Day. Libraries will resume regular hours Tuesday, Sept. 5.

• Our Community Credit Union presents a free community paper shredding event, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Montesano (212 E. Pioneer Ave., Suite B) and Elma (306 S. 7th St.) branch locations. Safely destroy documents containing sensitive and personal information courtesy of Lemay, a professional document destruction service. Canned non-perishable food item donations are welcomed.
