Aberdeen Museum
Housed in the National Guard Armory
at 111 E. 3rd Street, the Aberdeen museum displays treasures
from times past. The building was donated to the city by Chuck
and Carl Swanson and is staffed by volunteers versed in local
history. Some of the museums special exhibits include a blacksmith
shop, pioneer church, antique fire trucks and historical photographs.
In the summer, the museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10
a.m.-5 p.m., noon to 5 on Sunday. Suggested admission is $5.
for a family, $2 for adults and $1 for seniors or students. This venue is also available for meeting and parties. For
