Spruce, Montesano, Washington for the purchase of an estimated 2392.00 MBF Scribner of timber. The timber is comprised of predominantly Western Hemlock. The County by making such estimates neither warrants nor limits the quantity of timber to be sold hereunder. The timber to be sold hereunder is restricted and may not be exported.
The logs to be sold hereunder shall be sold on a log scale basis. Scaling shall be the responsibility of the purchaser and shall be scaled according to the contract prepared for this sale. Scaling shall be performed at sites approved by the County only. Any change in the scaling site must be approved in writing by the County. All logs, including pulpwood shall be scaled.

REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS (RSQ)
Grays Harbor County Department of Public Services is seeking the services of qualified individual to serve as the Executive Director (Director) to the Washington Coast Sustainable Salmon Partnership (WCSSP).
The Director will coordinate development and implementation of a wide variety of initiatives, programs and policies to accomplish the Board’s mission and responsibilities. The Director’s duties may also include interagency coordination, public and media relations and supervision of a small staff of employees, contractors and/or volunteers.
The Director will have primary responsibility for securing grants and funding from state, federal, private and corporate sources. The Director will perform the full range of managerial functions including oversight of agency performance, finances and facilities. Duties also include providing review of reports developed by staff and/or contractors and providing recommendation to the Board for action, and working with state and federal agencies on policies as they pertain to salmon recovery.
This is a contractor position with no benefits provided and no withholding of taxes. This position will contract with the fiscal agent, Grays Harbor County which is based in Montesano.
One or more individuals will be selected for an interview based upon the following criteria categories: Qualifications; Relevant experience as demonstrated on previous projects; and Expressed interest in the project.

In accordance with Chapter 36.72, of the Laws of the State of Washington, sealed bids will be received by the Clerk of the Board of Commissioners, at the Commissioners Office at 100 West Broadway, Suite #1, Montesano, WA 98563, until the hour of 2:00 p.m., on Monday, March 31, 2008, at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read in the Commissioners Meeting Room, for the Grays Harbor County legal publications contract for the printing and publication of Commissioners’ proceedings, legal notices, and all other advertising of Grays Harbor County, as required by law to be published in the official newspaper of the county, from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.
SPECIFICATIONS
The Board shall let the contract to the best and lowest responsible bidder, giving consideration to the question of circulation in the awarding of the County Printing Contract, to give said legal publications the widest publicity.
All bids must state price per column inch for the first insertion of solid six-point type, full-width column and solid eight-point type, full width column; also price per column inch for subsequent insertion. Discounts for electronic submittals shall be clearly stated.
The successful bidder shall deliver affidavits of publication within fourteen days of final publication of all notices.

Spruce, Montesano, Washington for the purchase of an estimated 5300.75 MBF Scribner of timber. The timber is comprised of predominantly Western Hemlock. The logs to be sold hereunder shall be sold on a log scale basis. Scaling shall be the responsibility of the purchaser and shall be scaled according to the contract prepared for this sale. Scaling shall be performed at sites approved by the County only. Any change in the scaling site must be approved in writing by the County. All logs, including pulpwood shall be scaled.

On or before March 21, 2008, by not later than 10:00 a.m., each prospective purchaser must submit their sealed bid, on a form provided for that purpose, enclosed in a sealed bid envelope also provided. A bid deposit, in the amount of $85,550.00 in the form of cash or certified check, shall be included with the sealed bid. Upon award of the Sale, the respective deposits shall be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. On the day of sale, the purchaser must pay an additional amount to bring the total deposit amount to equal ten (10) percent of the full bid price based on the advertised cruise estimate. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Westport Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at their regularly scheduled meeting for Zoning Text Amendments to the Westport Municipal Code. Chapter 17.36.200 - Vehicle and other storage section (2). The proposed change is to remove the Tourist Service (TS) Zoning and to change the language to include all Residential (R) Zones and all Mixed Use Tourist Commercial (MUTC) Zones.
The public hearing will be held on Tuesday March 18, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter in the Westport council chambers located at 506 N. Montesano Street.

ALL MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC are hereby given notice that the City Council of the City of Montesano will hold a hearing open to the public for purposes of receiving comments, suggestions, recommendations and other material from the public at large and from all interested persons in relation to the matter specified below. The hearing will commence at the hour of 7:30 o’clock p.m. or as soon as the hearing may be called to order on Tuesday, the 25th day of March 2008, in the Council Chambers of the City of Montesano, 112 N.
