AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCES 2007-1, 204, 233 AND SECTION 8.16.290 OF THE GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY CODE TO REQUIRE PAYMENT OF APPROPRIATE PERMIT APPLICATION FEE AT TIME OF APPLICATION AND DOUBLING FEE IF NO PERMIT APPROVED PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK, AND FURTHER CLARIFYING THAT ADMINISTRATIVE APPEAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DECISIONS SHALL BE CONDUCTED AS PRESCRIBED IN CHAPTER 18.08 OF THE COUNTY CODE
Whereas, the Grays Harbor County Board of Health finds it necessary to amend Ordinance 2007-1 and Grays Harbor County Code Section 8.16.060 to specifically state that the appropriate fee must accompany permit application and that fee due will double if work commences prior to approval by Environmental Health Division, and further amend Code Section 8.16.290 and Ordinances 2007-1, 204 and 233 to state that appeal of Environmental Health Division administrative decisions shall be processed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 18.08 of the Grays Harbor County Code.
NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Health of Grays Harbor County will accept comment on the above-referenced issue. A full text of the propose ordinance is available at the Grays Harbor County Commissioners Office, Suite 1, County Administration Building, 100 West Broadway, Montesano, Washington 98563, for review, and will be mailed upon request. Written comments may be mailed to the Grays Harbor County Board of Health prior to the February, 2010, meeting at the previously-stated address, submitted at the County Commissioners' Office, Administration Building, Montesano, Washington, or submitted at the public hearing.
