CONSULTING SERVICES
Grays Harbor County Department of Public Works is requesting qualifications from Consultants for the following project:

Porter Creek Road West Bridge Replacement
E-96540-50

Services may include geo-technical analysis, hydraulic analysis, various environmental process, bridge design, preparation of technical specifications, construction cost estimate, construction engineering support, bridge inspection, load ratings and scour analysis as required.

This project calls for the replacement of the existing 222-foot timber pile bridge with a 222-foot long by 28-foot wide structure with appropriate approach slabs on the existing alignment. Grays Harbor County will complete the approach roadway design.

Grays Harbor County encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women owned consultant firms to respond.

All prospective consultants are advised that EEO Compliance Review will be used on this project.

The selection of consultants for this project will include an evaluation for the following factors: key personnel, relevant experience, firm location, ability to meet schedule, past performance and in-house expertise.

Firms desiring consideration shall submit a letter of interest, statement of qualifications (limit to 8 pages), and references to the Grays Harbor County Public Works Office, 11 W. Broadway, Suite 31, Montesano, WA 98563-0614 no later than 5: 00 PM, April 11, 2008.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Rod Salsman has submitted an application for a Large-lot Subdivision to divide J.B. and Betty Salaman’s 23.48-acre property into two (2) lots. Prior to the hearing, information regarding the proposal including an Environmental Impact Analysis may be reviewed at the City’s Public Works Office located at City Hall, 740 N. Montesano St., Westport, WA.

Procedure and Time Limitation for Commencing a Challenge:
The Planning Commission will hold an open record public hearing, at the time and date referenced above, to hear public comment on the application. Thereafter, the Planning Commission shall approve, modify or deny the application. The decision shall be based on whether the application conforms with the Shoreline Management Act, the state implementing regulations, and the goals, policies and regulations of this Chapter. The decision shall be final unless an appeal is filed in accordance with the provisions of Section 17.32.090 of the Westport Municipal Code.
