STATE ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY ACT
CASE 2007-1375
Determination of Non-Significance (DNS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN William and Maxine Pace have submitted
an application for a two-lot large-lot subdivision pursuant to
Grays Harbor County Code Title 16. The subdivision permit would
allow the applicant to divide the existing 10-acre property into
two (2) lots. A small wetland area exists along the eastern boundary
of the subject property. The Washington Administrative Code (WAC)
Chapter 197-11-800(6)(a) requires: Except upon lands covered
by water, the approval of short plats or short subdivisions
procedures required by RCW 58.17.060, but not including further
short subdivisions or short plat or subdivision previously exempted
under this subsection. Because a small wetland exists on the
subject property, a State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) threshold
determination is required.
The subject parcel is located approximately 7 miles northwest
of Montesano, WA next to Geissler Road. The property is further
described as having Assessor parcel # 180820410060, within the
east half of the south east quarter of Section 20, Township 18
N., Range 8 W. W.M., Grays Harbor County, Washington.
A SEPA Determination of Non-Significance (DNS), dated August
2, 2007 has been issued under (Washington Administrative Code)
WAC 197-11-350.
The purpose of this notice is to obtain factual information
concerning this proposal. Any person desiring to express their
views, request additional information, or be notified of the
action taken on this application should contact Laura Gray of
